Email Spec Book

Spec Book Pro outputs a spec book to a PDF file. If you have a large project, for example, 750 specs, this PDF file could be 15 megabytes in size. Many email services will not let you email a really large attachment.

Spec Book Pro breaks large projects into several PDFs. For example, for the project with 750 in the spec book, it would break the spec book into eight PDFs; the first seven would have 100 specs in each PDF, and the eighth would have 50 specs.

This allows easy sharing of information with clients, purchasers, installers, etc.

Hide Cost in Specs

You can click on a checkbox to hide the pricing information in the spec PDF.

Hide Sources in Specs

You can click on a checkbox to hide the sources (Manufacturer and Rep Firm) in the spec PDF.

Set the default Issued Date

You can enter a date that will automatically be entered in all new specs.

Change all Issued Dates

You can click on a button to change all the Issued Dates.

Show Spec List for a Location

You can select a Location from a dropdown list to get a list of all specs for that location for updating.

Create a Spec Book for a Location

You can select a Location from a dropdown list to output a PDF with all the specs for that location.

Show Spec List for a Manufacturer

You can select a Manufacturer from a dropdown list to get a list of all specs for that manufacturer for updating.

Create a Spec Book for a Manufacturer

You can select a Manufacturer from a dropdown list to output a PDF with all the specs for that manufacturer.

You can select a Rep Firm from a dropdown list to get a list of all specs for that rep firm for updating.

You can select a Rep Firm from a dropdown list to output a PDF with all the specs for that rep firm.
